Wine and Dine Eagle Lodge at Faraway Bay

To Wine and Dine at Faraway Bay’s Eagle Lodge is an experience and in surely Australia’s most unusual kitchen and spectacular dining room.

Faraway Bay boasts one of the best ‘Dining with a view’! Eagle Lodge is the hub of your stay at Faraway Bay.  All meals are around our ‘Long Table’, everyone dines together sharing their days experience as well as life experiences. Always a beautiful end to another perfect day in paradise..


Fresh Gourmet Produce

From your clifftop perch, feast on freshly caught wild Barramundi, Mangrove Jacks, and reef fish.  Our menu also features home-baked desserts and we source as much fresh produce from the Ord River Orchards as possible.


Continental buffet style breakfast includes cereal, Faraway Bay’s own homemade muesli, seasonal fruit platter, yoghurt, toast, butter and jams.

A cooked breakfast is also available each day and cooked to order.

Fruit juice, coffee and a selection of teas are also available.


Morning & Afternoon Tea

While enjoying your morning and afternoon activities, sample fresh fruits, home-baked cakes and biscuits, tea, coffee or ice cold drinks and our fresh spring water.



Lunch is often one of our delicious picnics, served outdoors or on board one of our vessels.

Picnics might include quiche, cold or hot roast lamb or chicken, served with a selection of fresh salads.

Salads include cold potato chunks with fresh basil and virgin oil; tomato and bacon with red onions and assorted olives; baby spinach leaves with roasted vegetables and pine nuts.  Each features tasty dressings.

Lunch is accompanied by bread or savoury muffins, and fresh fruit.

Champagne, beer, wine, cool drinks and Faraway Bay fresh spring water are served with lunch.


Pre-dinner drinks and snacks are served either on the lower local Zebra Rock – floor deck overlooking the bay, around the campfire alongside Eagle Lodge, or in the Quoll Bar’s comfortable lounge area.  As the sun sets, enjoy tapas-style appetisers, a combination of any of the following:

  • Oysters, Prawns, Squid, Scallops or Fish Goujon from fresh fish caught on the day
  • Barbecued Kangaroo, Crocodile or Buffalo
  • Selection of savoury-filled pastries


A sumptuous two-course gourmet meal includes:

Main Course

  • Reef or Beef cooked on the barbecue.  This could be a whole fish, fish fillets or fish in parcels – from fish caught that day.  Served with fresh vegetables, such as zucchini, tomatoes, pumpkin, slivers of cabbage with butter and peppercorns, or honeyed carrots.
  • Rack of Lamb, served on a herb and potato mash with a combination of zucchini, squash and truss tomatoes, and sautéed fresh beans tossed with bacon and pine nuts.


Homemade desserts include tasty delights such as Lemon curd and Meringue Cake with Blueberries or Sticky Fig and Date Pudding with Caramel Sauce and Chantilly Cream.


Choose from quality Western Australian wines, from renowned, award-winning winemaker, Larry Cherubino.  Varieties  include Chardonnay, Semillon Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz, Merlot and Sparkling Brut.

Enjoy ice cold beers on tap.

Soft drinks and Faraway Bay’s own fresh spring water are also available.

All beverages are fully inclusive with meals and some tours. Faraway Bay is a licensed premises and abides by Responsible Service of Alcohol rules and regulations.

Special Dietary Requirements

Our menu is healthy and varied and caters to most dietary preferences.  However, if you have any special requirements, we ask that you let us know.

We require a minimum of one month’s advance notice of any special dietary requirements, as our ingredients are flown in by charter aircraft.


Open Kitchen

During your stay, you’ll have access to tea, coffee, food  at any time. Snack on one of the freshly-baked biscuits, muffins or some fresh fruit.

Enjoy camp-baked birthday cakes, stories and laughter around the campfire and your favourite brew to welcome you at sun-up.

Your Choice of Beverages

Lunches and dinners are enjoyed with your choice of fine West Australian wines and beers.

Enjoy the relaxed vibe of the Aussie outback at our new ‘Quoll Bar’. Named after a friendly family of Northern Quolls who visit Eagle Lodge each night, Quoll Bar offers comfortable lounge seating and a great view of the bay. Choose from a selection of popular tap beers and a quality wine list showcasing Larry Cherubino fine West Australian red, white and sparkling wines.

With all beverages fully inclusive with all gourmet meals at Faraway Bay, the only thing you’ll need to do is choose! You can purchase beverages outside the allocated inclusive meal and bar times if you wish.
