A typical day at Faraway Bay remote Kimberley

A Typical Day

A Typical Day at Faraway Bay starts with:-

Bountiful Breakfast

The day starts with breakfast in the open air Eagle Lodge, a perfect venue for lounging, dining and daydreaming. Feast on a hearty cooked breakfast and feed the birds, including wild Sea Eagles at around 7am, whom were named Arthur & Martha by a regular guest,  or sleep in and enjoy a bounty of fresh produce at the continental buffet.

At Faraway Bay there’s the time and space for you to be as solitary or as social as you please.

Stake your claim on a hammock for the day. Review yesterday, plan tomorrow.

Take a refreshing plunge in the clifftop freshwater pool.

Sit and drink in the spectacular, ever-changing view.

Be Active

Here, going out for the day takes on a whole new meaning.

Inclusive in every stay at Faraway Bay, is a boat cruise along the magnificent King George River on board one of our boats. Your trip will take you to within metres of the Kimberley’s stunning natural wonder, the magnificent twin King George Falls – a location not visited by any other land-based accommodation. Magnificent in different ways depending on what time of the season you get to visit.

Walk on untouched beaches, swim in natural freshwater pools, explore the surrounding wilderness, discover ancient rock art, and watch wildlife and marine life in their untouched environment.  Explore untouched Kimberley land from the coastline into the bush – an outback experience like no other.

Indulge in a unique journey of the senses with people who can show you hidden secrets of this magical, uncharted corner of the world.
